this is a question that has surfaced here many times....the bottom line is, there's such a diminiscule chance of you being exposed to fraud, it's not worth thinking about.... just use common sense, and you'll never get into trouble....use your instincts....

Anything that seems to be too good to be true.

This question has been asked many times by students. Look at the previous answers.

"Trust me. We are the GOOD GUYS!"

Other variations that should send up the Red flags usually include some reference to 'we are Christians' out of context with the conversation.

But, in the context of your question, fraud is cloaked in lack of transparency. The most easily identified contains words like 'all correspondence should be directed through my attorney in Morocco."

Cash, over list price in a balanced market suggests surprises await.

The crooks evolve as the market evolves. Today, the hot issue is wire fraud. They snoop email correspondence and when 'wiring insturcutions' are triggered, they send a spoofed set of instructions to the wrong account.

Ever vigilant it the name of the game.
