Here is one of several definitions when you Google "define agency":
- a business or organization established to provide a particular service, typically one that involves organizing transactions between two other parties.
Acting as an Agent, an Advocate, on your side.
Agency means different things in each of the three jurisdictions where I work. Just learn your local laws.

In Oregon we operate under a disclosed limited agency. We work on behalf of our clients to represent them in their purchase or sale of real estate. Their interests come ahead of our own and we work to make sure those interests are met - even when those interests are terminating a listing or purchase.

You must check your state for how they interrupt Agency. Every state is different and you want to know how your state operates so you understand how you will represent buyers and sellers.
