I do not. It is only a good idea or bad idea if you believe that it is. Go with what you are inclined to do.

I think it is a fine idea if one wishes to do it. I kept mine the same and didn't have any desire to change it.

But when those emails continue to go out in April, good does not remain as the descriptive.

My email signature has said Merry Christmas since my first AOL account in the early 1990's. My auto-responders too. It's a greeting not an insult or exclusionary; just like Konichiwa is what I hear in Japan, Aloha in Hawaii, I take it as it's intended..."hello". I think the bigger issue is business people that do not use a signature at all.

It depends on the person, it is a new world where it is once again ok to say Merry Christmas, I see and hear a lot more holiday and Christmas greetings than a year ago.

No, I do not as for many Christians, wishing Happy Holidays and not Merry Christmas is too PC. Right now many are just fed up with this culture and here is just one example: http://www.cbc.ca/1.3377720

I never thought of it, but it might be a good idea. I wonder if anyone has tried it and what were the results.

I don't want to remember to change it back. Like those people with the voicemails saying they'll be returning October 16th... and it's December.

I don't wish people a happy "season" at all. Around 90% of Americans celebrate Christmas and 1/3 of the world populations celebrates it. The three percent of Americans that celebrate Hanukkah do not take offense to it. That gives me a 93% chance of not offending anyone when I wish them a Merry Christmas. How could anyone take offense to me wishing them well?
