I think the notification only works on Q&A section, but still does not work in blog section.  It did not work when they first introduced the feature and they were aware that day and said that they were going to work on it.  I have not heard any updates so just assumed it hasn't been fixed yet.

I think it only works 50/50. It used to work better before the upgrade happened.

I hover 'Mr Mouse' over the grey flag left of my photo on the upper screen & a drop down menu tells me pretty much of the time. 80%

I usually just check back for subcomments....

Fred, I do not believe that feature works on comments on posts.

I often check back on posts for sub comments because I don't seem to be getting notified... or they get lost in the notification roll.  I believe many sub comments are missed.

Not sure. I have not really paid attention.

There are many breakdowns still but overall it is working effectively since the clock is back in sync.

I don't believe notifications are received for sub-comments but I could be wrong as difficult as I may believe that to be.  

I'm pretty sure it shows up in my notifications that someone commented on my comment.

I only get notice of comments, not sub-comments.

If it shows I will look if not on to the next.

Good question. I was just thinking about this the other day. No one seems to have an answer. 

I used to not tag if I'm replying to their comment.  I believe I still see notifications when someone replies to my comment and I know I see it when they reply to an answer of mine.  Now I tag everytime, just to be safe.

I thought these tags worked but I have never checked. I guess I have been an uninformed user.

I don't think you get notice of a "sub-comment" if you don't tag the person you are commenting to.
