Well I don't know if this was ocmpletely listing appointment it was also catching up with a past client, talking about their life and goals etc. I spent about 3-4 hrs last week doing this.

Kathleen Daniels - I do not recollect spending lot of time at the listing appointments as they are referrals. 

I'd say, about 3 hours max? Or even less, perhaps! Since about an hour goes in world topics....lol!

4 and 1/2 hours.  Large dairy farm with multiple land holdings.   A great lisitn in my book.

The actual listing appointment, three hours but if you include the one hour prior that was spent discussing whether the sellers qualified for a short sale (they did not), four hours.

They are usually quite short. Mostly, the seller already knows he/she wants to hire me and usually I have the contract with me to sign.

If you are talking about at one sitting that would be 4 hours. If you mean total work with all the cummulative visits that would be about 12 hours over 5 weeks.

The place was huge and the seller had to tell me everything about it, 3 hours.

Mine are short & sweet. In or out...yes or no and ready when you are

no more than an hour and a half....but averaging one hour....

Depends on how much I want the project, I know not to leave until the paperwork is signed. People are much more likely to sign while you are there than later on when they forget most of your compelling reasons.

2 hours when I train a new agent.

I always enlist the potential sellers to involve the new agent and be sure that they are okay if I bring a 'trainee' with me.  Believe it or not, I've landed every single listing that i took a new agent along - the sellers love having the attention of two of us!

Probably between an hour and a half to two hours is the longest I've spent on a listing appointment.

i and a half hours - lots of seller questions and then signing the listing agreement.

Just shy of about 4 hours and as I walked I even had all but one of my forms signed. I got a call within an hour saying they had signed with another agent...

I did one that was over three hours. I got the listing. The seller never stops talking. For three hours he went on and on and on. I dread it when he calls me, too, because he even goes on and on and on over the phone. I just listen. Maybe that's why I got the listing. 

Probably 2-2.5 hours.  That included signing the contract, taking photos and chatting (they were friends).
