I celebrate everything. It's also National Dog Day too or something. Who cares, it's a day off.

I do wish that people would pay more attention to the meaning of Veterans Day & Memorial Day though.

I create my own holidays but around July 4th and Labor Day we take longer vacations.

Its a day off for clients. We work those days.

Agents don't even take week-ends off.  They certainly don't have bankers hours or holidays.

These three day weekends are often work days with clients having the day off and out of towners coming into town.

No.  Those are days when prospects are more likely to be looking for properties.

I wrote one offer last night and other this morning and showing a house to a buyer this morning who is ready to buy.  That's celebrating my way!

The only difference today is no closings.  Title companies don't work on bank holidays.

We "celebrate" by using that time that buyers and sellers have off to meet with them, show them properties, and sign contracts!

John Peak I don't know about banker holidays. I don't know of a holiday yet that is named after a bank. I do celebrate Federal holidays.

I can not imagine what clebrating a bank holiday means or looks like.

When it's time to celebrate, I do. Calendar has very little influence.

50/50, I never feel like they really are Holidays. If my bride was home I would, but she's at work today with her job at Virgin America, so I'm putting in a half day today. The Big three of Summer and then Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's Day are the ones I observe and build vacations around.

If the phone is ringing, I am working.

I celebrate by working and scheduling appointments with those people that have the day off.

There are no banker holidays for me. Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and New Years, I am closed but have both listed and showed homes when needed.

   This day is to honor President George Washington, and other United States Presidents.  I took the day off... I wouldn't call it a celebration.

Yes, but I am primarily a property management office. Sales agents work independently and can do whatever they want with their schedule, to include accessing the office. But we are closed to walk-in traffic on banking holidays.
