Whatever you end up using, make sure that it's something that you can continue to use if you were to ever leave your company. What your company uses may be costly. You need to research various crm's out there to determine what fits your style and business model and budget best. If boomtown is free to you, it's a good option from that perspective. HOWEVER, I don't believe in using any company's "freebies" that tie you into them. What if you decide to go elsewhere... your data base is inextricably tied to your current company. It's no easy task to move data.

I would use your own, after doing some research, rather than than the company freebie in case you decide to leave at some point. I use WiseAgent and like it alot. RealtyJuggler has a good rep

We use our own in Florida and Buffini in California

I recommend using your own so you have total control over your leads. If you were to leave, your access would be terminated on the company site.

 I do not have personal experience with boomtown but what are you planning to use it for and how.  I think from choices are a personal preference.

Hubspot.com/crm. Free forever. Hubspot is a content marketing platform and they are collecting data from their users just like Google does(Google owns them). For you the end user you are going to get an amazing CRM that will probably be free forever.

Whatever you use make sure you own it and it moves with you.  I am not a fan of any company having access to my leads.

Liondesk.com is a CRM that I know a lot of Real Estate Agents are using now. And www.Firepoint.net has a CRM with their website.

My CRM is separate from my website, I use Buffini & Company 's Referral Maker CRM, see my 3 previous posts on it from 2016 & 2017.

I'd recommend using your own.  Find one with functionality you like that is user friendly (if it's not, you won't use it).  Build your database and keep it yours.  

I use jungo from SalesForce and absolutely love it.  Jungo has an agent app too that I would recommend checking out.

I believe only you can answer that question. It is more based on what your needs are and how much you intend on using it.

Boomtown has an excellent CRM in my opinion and you have to use it to some extent if you are working with website registrants. Make sure you know your company policy on whos leads are yours and whos are theirs if you leave and make sure you have all your own personally leads in a secondary place if you aren't the owner of the boomtown platform. Even if you plan to forever stay with your company or you own the platform you or your broker may decide to get rid of boomtown at some point because it is expensive and needs to provide roi. I am designated broker and we use boomtown CRM primarily but my husband also has his database in Insightly.

You should use your own unless you are 100% sure that you will stay with your company for your career, that it doesn't stop using this in the future and/or it doesn't go out of business.

Make sure that your data is always yours - as for CRMs use the one that you like and will use. 

Boomtown costs some bucks so I would use theres. But, if you leave then what? 

that is a personal choice

#1. Whatever your action make certain YOU, not your broker or team leader OWNS the subscription to the CRM.

#2. IF you are in the process of selecting a CRM, simply look at the CRM sales page to verify if they have a interface to the website provider. Or the provider has develop an interface with the CRM. For example, GoDaddy hosted websites have a free plugin to SugarCRM.

#3. What kind of CRM depends on the needs of your business today and what your business should look like in 2020.

You won't truly understand the importance until the broker betrays you and the 'time to leave' sign starts flashing.

I have heard good things about Boomtown, andif it is integrated into your site already, why not use it.
