We have been experiencing a steady up market, job growth is continuing to be a bonus of us and sheer numbers of new hires need housing! The spring weather is an added bonus!

I can't say that we really slowed down THIS Winter

I think so in my area. It is snowing now so we've had a slight delay lol.

Yes, things started picking up in our area about 2 weeks ago and it did coincide with the melting of all the snow and a bit warmer weather.  -Ksaey

my office has had an awesome winter season and I think it's a combination of weather and job growth and financial confidence.

In Oklahoma everything is typically brown due to dormant bermuda grass. Spring weather seems to come earlier every year due to climate change and it gets the market going.

It seems that many folks are optimistic about the economy.

the market IS picking up for us....I can only speak for my team.... but my marketing had doubled....yes, doubled.... two listing appointments today.... one yesterday... and two done last week....new listings coming within two weeks....

Our market picked up about the 2nd week in January (nice weather here). Lots of winter visitors in town right now wanting to buy homes.

It has been hot in the last month since the mid of January. I don't mean weather either.

Seems it has been a busy Jan and Feb already so good year.

Smart home buyers are anxious to take advantage of the very low mortgage interest rates.

Moving on up! In fact, I already feel too busy!

February was SO busy for us! Market is definitely picking up in Clark, NJ!

The only slow down i saw was the 9 days of wnter wih snow every day, other than that, January was one of the best ever and spring markets have sprung as people see the snow melting

I do think many are excited about the springlike weather and the still low interest rates.

It's NOT picking up here yet Ginger Harper , it's very sluggish.

   Market is steady.  Weather is beautiful.  The beach is calling me, BBL.

It's continued to be strong, although a little slower in December and January. Demand is very strong, inventory is only creeping up

My market never slowed down long enough to "pick up" because of the weather!

I believe the weather has something to do with it, and I also believe buyers are just tired of waiting.  Inventory is still low, but I'm definitely more busy working with buyers than in the past few months.

We are moving new inventory as quick as we list it- less than 2 months supply all price points. Crazy!!

The market is steady and beckoning....Morale is the driving factor

The weather and time of the year definitely affects our market.

We have been having warms days lately which helps to make for a great market.

Lots and tons of rain, flood. People look for homes under deluge. Not deterned by weather. All way offered way over asking price.  Those B buyers who hesitated in the past are determined to get anything before the next interest hike.
