$850-1100 seems to be the range in southwest Ohio. Very common here, about 50/50 to pass or fail the radon test if there isn't already a radon mitigation system in place.

Desmond Neoh I've only had one owner come across this problem. The radon was vented to the outside from the basement. The cost was $800.00 at that time.

Not an issue here in SoCal but had some clients involved with this back in boston years ago - but I don't recall costs.
I am not sure what the average cost. We had a seller get it done for about $1500. I am sure it depends on how it is being mitigated and I would imagine different areas charge different amounts all over the country.-Kasey
Is radon testing done for areas where the homes have basements? We don't have them in Florida. So, I've not come across this yet.
