Find out what other Stagers in OKC are doing, then do it more and do it better.

I moved from Florida to Georgia and starting real estate in the new city was not easy. I had to market myself and get established, it took me about a year to get going. I still holding my FL Real Estate License.

I moved from California to Florida - IMO first thing - go to as many RE offices as you can and get your name on their lips
Next, make sure you website is live and working for the new area.
And third go PPC to get some business right away
Best of luck

I have not had to restart but if I did I know I would have to spend lots of time and money making myself known. In your business it might actually be easier because you probably have a portfolio of photos showing your results. Be sure to get lots of testimonials from clients and Realtors including days on the market.

Reboot!
That what you are about to do.
But, instead of rebooting into Windows 8, why not reboot into something better.
Recently a Imagineering session and today a what businesses adapted to change dialog. Hopefully you were a part of both.
Ask yourself, are you trying to find a problem for which you have a existing answer or do you SEE a problem that needs a SOLUTION?
Does the possibility exist to create a solution that is not locked to geography? IT is very possible, if spouse has success, you will be packing again.
In the city of your destination, find the nearest Republic/national Title Company and let their sales rep advise you regarding the real estate agent that are the heavy hitters, the winter agents and the agents approaching their 2nd year. The low hanging fruit is the latter group. The others are convinced their business is ok and they won't fix what is not broke.
You can get a free, limited agent list from Dr Bill to get you started.
But you will need a real message to get the attentions of real estate agents. They are like everyone else. They hear, faster, cheaper, easier, better.

We sold the office in Ft. Lauderdale and moved to Orlando in a totally different city dynamics.
We were both in the same business, so there was never another income to depend on...it was never a question of not making it. We knew no one and had no friends.
We did well our first year in a new environment because we worked harder than anyone else in the business. That is probably an understatement. In one year we knew more about Orlando real estate than the locales.
Rule #1: Ya gotta want it more than anyone else and you have to be willing to do whatever it takes.
If I were to become a stager, I would want to learn everything there is about what is available to buy, rent for staging in Oklahoma City. Then I would give some freebees to Brokers to get a foot in the door and speak at their meetings.
By freebees, I mean do a staging for cost and no profit so that someone can see the quality of your work.
If I were to hire a stager, I would want to see a sample of their work,...the before and after book. I want to see the transformation, not hear about it. I would want a stager to be ultra creative and suggest things that I would never think of.
I would also call a builder and see if you can do one or two rooms in a spec home...use that for credibility to build on.
Offer to take buyers furniture shopping for an hourly fee...offer agents gift cards that they can buy for their closing gift...an initial counseling for fungsui arranging of furniture or something along those lines.
In other words, expand on the staging to other similar services.
Never take NO for an answer...if you are willing to kiss a lot of toads, you will make it sooner than you think.

Depending on the structure of your business operations, you may need new business licences, corporate structure, authority to operate, register for various types of taxes, file different forms, etc. Consult appropriate legal counsel and/or tax and business advisors, insurance brokers and whoever else you need to contact. Make sure they are familiar with the requirements for OK.

Get involved with your new community as quickly as you can. Professional organizations, community-centric groups. Network, and offer up classes and info sessions for the local Realtor community.
Work your butt off, because it isn't easy to start over, I did it back in 2013.

You have received wonderful ideas! I never moved from one state to another but might do so at some point in the future, so this was very helpful for me as well. Thank you for asking!

Karen - I would imagine Active Rain would be a great place to start. Then, of course your local Real Estate Association and Chamber of Commerce in OKC. Best of luck.

I moved from Boston to SoCal 12 years ago and knew no one here. I got started in blogging fairly soon, and tried to make as many contacts as I could as quickly as possible. I left a lot of business behind but set up all the referrals before leaving. I think Kenneth J. Jones has some good ideas. I am happy to chat, too, if that would be helpful!

I'd connet with a local board of Realtors like others have said and see if you can "sponsor" classes they have and be able to introduce yourself and hand out business cards. Also connect with local real estate schools and see if you would be allowed to come in and say a blurb at the beginning or end of those classes. I'd recommend not doing pre-license classes, but advanced and continuing ed classes that will have season agents in them. Introduce yourself to as many builders as you can and maybe even go as far as offering to stage one of their model homes for free if you can leave a sign and business cards at the house. Good luck!
