I would feel it's stalky and wouldn't want it done to me... but there are the real estate "gurus" out there who say to do it. I think it's really a personal choice. If you feel it's stalky, it's probably not a good idea to do so.

To your business page, maybe, not your personal and it may be too soon until rapport is established. When a stranger asks me to accept them or like a page I delete the request as "motel key on the first date" feeling.

I'm not sure about stalky; however, I think that is a violation of Facebook policy.

No, Facebook is open for stalking but sending a Friend Request gives the people knowledge of your interest and they can agree or ignore it.  Why would you want more Facebook Friends that you don't know anything about anyway?

NO!  First of all, my personal facebook is just that... PERSONAL.  I only have actual friends on there, no coworkers at all.  My business page is open to all.  If someone is interested, they can like it.  At most I'd send an email thanking them for signing up and giving them the link to my social media accounts to follow me there.

Yes. In that scenario, asking them to sign up for your newletter would be appropriate, or as far as facebook is concerned, asking them to like your fb business page.
