Got it, dumped it & will continue to do so. This is about 15 years overdue when it could have made a difference with marketing.
Too pricey, lame.

1. If you ever leave NAR, you lose your site.
2. NAR is gouging its members by charging them for this domain.

No I don't see the value in this and feel the NAR should not have premium priced these to agents... they already make enough money from us.. while providing virtually no protections... more selling to us than supporting us in my opinion

No I tried it for the first year when it was free and then gave it up when they wanted to charge me for it. I do not see the use. I am happy with .Com and 2nd choice .Net domains.

Heck no! Extra expensive and really adds no benefit. People are looking for the .com on a domain name. I think NAR was stupid to go to the .realtor domain. I actually remove the link from any posts of their and change it to their old one. No one even knows what a realtor is (the NAR definition at least)!

Nathan,
I used it the first year that it was offered for free. Not worth paying $39.95 per year. Realtor.com has not even tried Realtor.Realtor on their site, that gives us an indication as to how successful the ".Realtor" is.

If it were FREE, I would not want it. I want to be known for being a buyers broker and not the run-of-the-mill realtor, reelator, realtoor...

Thanks for posting this question Nathan. I've wondered about the efficacy of the .realtor domain. Now I know.

Wasn't even aware there was such a thing. It's kind of like vanity license plates. Great for the owner's ego, but doesn't do much for anyone else. Our market is trainded to look for .com or .org or .net. In that order. Why make it harder to find your presence on the web?
