One time I put my head over Chyna the wrestler's body in a wrestling ring and several extremely stupid people thought it was S&M. Which made it even funnier.

I attempt to use humor in some of my posts and then take the topic and link to a listing.    The readers decide if it is humorous or not.

I don't. It's not my style and would sound forced. I believe I work in a serious business dealing with major financial assets... not where I inject humor for marketing purposes. And the problem is that different people do or don't find different things humorous... why take a chance of offending?

If you read neuro-science marketing it will tell you how important just a smile is.

Just did a TV interview on the Islands in the Potomac River I have listed. When asked if still available" No one has taken the plunge yet" "so to speak"

Sometimes humor is attempted, not all think that I am as funny as I may.

Humorous marketing can work if it is appropriate. One I like from a local contractor catches my eye.

I have a sense of humor occasionally, but in social media. 

Print ads I'm more of a tour guide with the info and factual.

I tell short third party stories too; victories & cautionary tales.

I like clever and funny advertising. I am not very funny myself. We also don't do a lot of marketing of ourselves besides our blog and website.-K

Absolutely all the time humor is a great way to break the ice and attract attention 

I try... I think I am funny but you would have to ask my audience.  Though when I do more comments back etc when I post some random funny stuff.

I read the secret sauce on FB is to do 3 post a day.. 1 business, 1 funny, 1 local..  Been following this and my engagement has inceased.

Have not put any humor into print, but when I don't have enough to do and staying in touch with clients, I interject humor into my conversation.

Some time I do.  Even on my business cards.

Yes, I had some radio ads that played off popular movies. It was fun!

I use humor, personally, but I don't like using it in marketing.

Yes, but I try to use very gentle humor, not to offend anyone. People are so sensitive these days.

Yes, that's my #1 go to plan lol. I was just updating some of my listing presentation & on one page at the bottom I wrote 'but wait there's more' just like a tacky 2am commercial for the clapper.

Well there is a realtor who liked one of my instagram posts the other day.  She is fond of posting pictures of her in her underwear, using the hastag "boobs" and billing herself as a "Realtor by day, Sex Party Host by night".   Just when I thought I've seen it all...

I think I've used all of that and more....
