I dress for success every day... regardless of whether I go to the office or not. I'm much more likely to be seen around town during the course of my day by the public than in the office.

I dress for clients, so if it is office time, it is dressed neat time. If it is off work, then off work dress is fine

Unless I need to move boxes or do physical work, when I am in the office I am professionally dressed.

The standards have changed. Casual is typical.

I have on occasion run in to pick something up in golf attire.

Since my wife and I only work out of a home office that can vary but at times a robe and slippers are the best. If I was going into a office that offcie causal would be what I do. I like sport coats and have been known for that.

Well my office is at home, but yes, I am dressed appropriately when I go for meetings, but occasionally I have popped by to get mail when I out running errands and have no appointments and may be more casually dressed.

no.... it depends on who, if anyone, I need to meet with....if a builder/developer is coming in for a meeting, I'm dressed for success from top to toes.... if not, I could be in color coordinated workout clothes!!! I don't meet with people... I market....

Regardless of where I am going I now dress for comfort.

I work in a very relaxed environment because I never know if I'll be selling a house, meeting a new client, or crawling under a house to find a water shutoff and stop a flood.

Always work appropriate is the call of the day.

I do not go to the main offices, but when I have a meeting, especially first time, I dress to impress ( my idea: never bright, no jewelry, all neat and professional).

I dress for the purpose of the trip.

If my purpose is to appear as a curb dwelling derelict, I dress accordingly. It is highly possible those in the office my voice an objection and their clients may reach a conclusion not beneficial to all. 

So, respectfully, the bigger picture must be considered and attire must be appropriate for the environment.

Dress for success is similar to it's cousin, fake it till you make it.

We don't go into the office, and neither do buyers. Although it is a corporate atmpsphere, there's no need to go to the office.

No, but I look better than 50% of the people dressed up (or so they say). It has really gone down hill fast I'm afraid. The front desk assistants always look nice but that's it.

I've always puzzled over some things one is which is more TRUE "You can't judge a book by its cover" or "Clothes make the man" 

Professional attire in the office 100% of the time.

I drop by once a week to pick up mail, so may or may not be dressed for success.  Depends on what I was doing.

Since I work in a two person office with my father, I normally dress like I normally do. With cattle you never know when I will need to go and work with them so at the office I try to have a nice shirt and clean jeans. That said, I have chased cows down in heels and dress but I think the pictures are deleted.

Paul - If I were just picking up mail, I would probably not worry about dressing for success. If I had other business, and was stopping by the office, I would dress appropriately.

Monday - Saturday it's shirt and tie minimum.

Sunday is shorts & T-shirt and a day off.

As Susan Emo eluded to, my dry cleaner has never seen me in anything but a suit or shirt & tie except when I take an extra day off. He always knows: "Hey Tom, you playin' hooky today with Ailina?"  "YEP!"

I'm careful about it, it's part of my brand.

I work from the office about 50% of the time so dress like I am meeting clients if I leave home.
