Without a doubt. My involvement in Facebook is almost all personal. My company page is simply an augment to the other marketing I do.

My real estate business would survive, but Facebook definitely makes it easier for my friends, family and customers to keep me top of mind and for me to stay on top of what's going on in their lives.

Yes it would. But it's meant to do more than survive, it needs to thrive.
It's 2017, I wouldn't do that.

Oh yes life goes on...One time I quit and it begged and bombarded me with all sorts of don't go's even taking some of my friends and saying how much they will miss me. I kept saying let me go and they wouldn't. They finally did saying we wont cancel it but just let it go dormant allowing you to come-back. It gave me the stalker creeps. Today, that stalking is done quietly

There is no question in my mind that if I was not on Facebook, it would not stop me from getting all the referrals from past satisfied clients. From my perspective, I put my eggs in many different baskets and one basket getting tipped over does not stop my progress. Great Question!

I can't remember any business that came to me because of Facebook, but maybe I've strengthened some bonds with clients because of it. Some of my past clients asked to become "friends" so, I presume, they see a more personal side of me than I normally show in any of my marketing.

Facebook is like a form of communication. That's like asking would your business survive without a telephone. Of course it would; it might suffer a bit until you find another way to communicate with your clients.

I rarely use my personal page now, but I'm not going to quite FB, since it is one of the largest networks over there and I've had my personal page for 8 years or more. There are family connections and close friends. I just reconnected there to 2 friends I did not talk for 5 years. Life sometimes gets busy.... but why completely burn all bridges. You do not need to log there every day, few times/month is enough.

Yes. I have almost 700 followers on my facebook but almost never get an inquiry from it and very few people like my posts, though I post to it regularly. It's worthless to me as a lead generator.

Your real estate business better prosper due to lots of streams, not just FB. Video is what I would not want to lose as it is the most valuable marketing tool in the entire marketing box.

YES! I quit FB for personal use in November. I have stuff auto post to the business account and I log on enough to see if there are any comments/etc.
1,525,616
2,464,140
Absolutely but why would I want to do that? It is way too easy to generate leads from FB and the ads are an incredibly cheap and effective way to drive traffic to our money sites. Someone in our markets will use FB to get new clients...why not us?!
