Honestly, no. I write the way I talk ... conversationally ... just as you have in the post. I do use spell check ... and that works well for me ... most of the time
Thank you for sharing this with the AR community.

I've never used a program like that. Looks cool though, I'll have to check it out. -Kasey

I've been using the free version of Grammarly but this looks like a little more robust alternative. Thanks for the suggestion.

Jeff, great tip, but the spell checker (I HOPE) does a pretty good job.

I write over 100,000 words per week and I only get 69% of them correct. How do I know that? I use Grammarly. Far and away the best writing improvement service I have ever come across.
This looks pretty cool too. Good luck Rainers.

Wow, I was worried it was me. Roy Kelley got me to use spell check all the time now.

I do not. My words are my own, no matter how they come out. Spell check? Sometimes; some days are better than others!

We usually have 2 sets of eyes on posts and other stuff that goes out. Hopefully we catch most of the errors. This is an interesting idea thou - thanks!

I prefer to write as I speak. Isn't always the prettiest and I have to be careful because I use jargon and words not everyone will like, but I find it's more authentic. I am who I am, regardless if it's on the phone, in person or in print.

It's good for checking, but can be frustrating too as their "style" may not be your style.

I don't ever depend on these kinds of programs... I know my grammar, spelling, and sentence structure. Often they are not correct. And I can proof read with the best of them.

Definitely worth checking out Jeff Pearl ... This is a great find! Does it also give you suggestions of what to replace some of those words with? Of just points out that something could be better?

I have Grammarly installed on a couple of my computers and it alerts me when grammar or misspellings are found. Sounds very similar.

I do not worry, the grammar police are there for me every time. What is irritating is you can hit spell check and it misses things. I will try this
