Sorry this is happening to you, Marco. I have had this occur on rare occasions. My solution typically involves a few choice words(not suitable here) and then stepping away from my computer for some time. Typically things return in a few hours. I'm not fond of glitches.

This has happened to me from time to time. I've taken those photos, print screened them, put them into paint and saved a new one. That's always done the trick... but it is a pain to need to spend time to do this.

Thankfully it's not happened to me yet but there are some answers below. Yet another glitch. Good luck!

Recurring glitch - you can do workarounds like Nina Hollander suggested.

Happens all the time, and a very common question here.
- Load the photo into an editing program, I use MS Paint.
- Make sure it is still aligned properly.
- Save it
- load it back into AR
it should work fine now.

I'd make a copy of the photo and rotate the copy. See if that fixes it.

I avoid the frustration by rarely using photographs!

There's no rotation tool. Try rotating it outside AR and posting it in sideways to see if AR spins it for you. In other words I figure out which way it's off by 25% and post sideways on purpose to have the AR ghost right it.

That happened to me not long ago. There, apparently, are work-a-rounds but I ended up choosing a different photo and it worked fine. I'm basically lazy (or impatient) and always looking for the speediest solution to a problem. LOL

Yes, that's been happening to me too. I've had to edit the photo, turn it a few times, put it back straight and save it as a new photo. Then I upload it and it works. -Kasey

If I remember correctly it was an Apple thing. Can't help.

Marco Giancola You will have to rotate them in an external program, resave and reload to your blog.

You need to use photographs taken in the landscape mode rather than the portrait (vertical) mode. An alternative is to post them on Facebook and copy and paste to your blogs.

I've found loading them from my own website works best. But, if I'm determined to re-load it, I've also found going to a different browser works sometimes!

I use a shareware to resize, rotate..... Photoshop works the best.

when I download and they are right side up, but after I click on it they are sideways.... I turn them to the left so they are right side up and then save .... they will save sideways again but it you turn to the left, it's all set... and rename it.... you'll be good to go....

That can happen if you are loading from an iphone or ipad. If that is the case take your photo in landscape rotated to the right and it will load correctly.

I finally figured it out. Reduce the size of the photo. Too big and they alway load landscape.

I've seen this issue come up many many times in the past. I am sorry you are experiencing this. I am with Michael Jacobs - walk away and return.

Marco,
I did put them on my desktop sideways, and it worked. It is ridiculous that we have to invent work arounds. A

I haven't found a solution other than changing the photo. Writing the blog in another editor (Google Docs, WordPress) and then copying and pasting works just as well.
