Welcome. There are lots of webinars but perhaps starting with the blogging boot camp series makes the most sense.

I'm with Jeff Dowler on this one - in addition, just pick something of interest and jump in with both feet!

As a new agent.....
Make sure you have a business plan.
Select a broker who connected you with a mentor who knows how to implement YOUR plan.
Create a database directly related to the market conditions of the preferred client identified by your business plan.
Hone your transformation story that assuages the biggies for the buyer/seller. Purge your language of real estate goobly-gook.
Develop a three level strategy to contacting your preferred client.
1. Web traffic (which could be blogging. But don't expect a 30 day pay.)
2. direct mail
3. G&G
What Active Rain University offers and whether it is relevant to YOUR business as defined by your business plan is not within my purview to comment.
I suggest you focus in on the doing of your business and not the distraction of Active Rain. As a newbie your needs are much different than that of those who have been on the circult for a while.

As Jeff Dowler has already stated...blogging boot camp is a great way to get your foot wet.

I would start with how to blog, at the very beginning. This can be overwhelming, and does take a while to get the hang of it. Best of luck.

Hi,
I agree with Jeff Dowler, a blogging boot camp is an ideal option for you.
Thanks!!

Traci Ball - start with the boot camp. And then focus on your specialties - either buyers or sellers.

Blogging bootcamp helped me tremendously though some of it has changed since they were recorded. it wouldn't hurt at all to watch them.

Good for you Traci! Jumping in and skipping the kiddie pool. You will learn so much, so fast. Don't forget to check out the contest that Dick Greenburg is doing on editing listing photos. I really look forward to seeing so much from you.
