I've been using Sale Agreed for years.

It's Irish!

When I was in Dublin, Ireland, all the homes for sale said Sale Agreed instead of Pending. I adopted it and had my sign guy make a bunch!

What I think is that the consumer will look at the sign and call the agent.

Have not seen it. Not sure what it means. Might be some kind of legal cautious finagling: can't say "sold", or in "contract" yet, if it's not fully signed. If that is the case, I'm not sure it helps the seller, it might be meant as promotion for the agency ("look what we did, work with US!"). Don't like it.
