Thanks for the heads up, and I am not fond of the name "oath" implies too much!   We just have Verizon for our phone, and one thing I have learned is to never give them your email, they bombard you every day, and you cannot unsubscribe.   A

Surprised that AOL and Yahoo are still around after all these years.

I do use Verizon everytime I pick up my phone, but I am not swearing any Oath to them.

I use none of them in my business..... 

I use Yahoo for personal, not for business

Had AOL email years and years ago until they decided what I was to receive, and bounced all my real estate email.  

Good to know.  From a past career with the once "Independent" Telephone industry, I steer clear as best I can of the latest incarnation(s) of Ma Bell and their wares.  A common phrase in those bygone days was that: the Bell System was designed by Geniuses (folks at Bell Labs); and run by Idiots!

Every landing page promising something unbelievable gets a Yahoo email address. From what you write I may need another repository for the inevitable drip campaigns.

I have been using my 'own' email address for a while now.

My son who works for Verizon was talking about this the other day. It is an attempt for Verizon to recapture some market share as they are falling way behind. Poor planning years ago is catching up with them.

Interesting - I'm a Verizon phone subscriber and have a Yahoo account that I don't use but, perhaps now, under the one umbrella, I will!

I have an AOL email an hope i am not losing it.

Wasn't aware.  I guess the 1990s called and wanted their AOL back.

We NEVER had the level of spam and crap before Yahoo merged with Frontier. So how this will help, I'll be waiting to see. There certainly is room for improvement.

Fred yes I had heard of this but I haven't used AOL since 1989 maybe??? Long long time ago whenever it was.

I use AOL for personal email but have not heard of the change. As for business, it all comes through my web site.

No, I didn't know.  I recently set up a "fake" yahoo email addy for a couple of clients, so that I can approve their directory listings without interupting them.  I wonder if that will change.

My cell phone provider is Verizon ... that's it.

I just migrated my verizon.net over to aol since that was the simplest and quickest way to do it. All i had to do after that was change my password for Mozilla Thunderbird. i was able to keep my verizon.net email even though aol will be handling it from now on. They never mentioned anything about " Oath". Maybe " Oaf " was already taken.

My phone is Verizon only. I don't use the others.

Yes I use Yahoo & knew this was coming down the pike. Just wish someone would tell me when to do it so I can grab my name.

Don't use any of these, but had heard of the name change, which sounds a bit odd to me.

Fred Griffin I use Verizon FiOS for Internet service. They just transitioned all their email addresses to AOL a couple of weeks ago. Looks like another change coming up.

I don't use either for business things, but both hubby and I use yahoo/aol for personal stuff. Wonder if they'll ever try to change the email addresses to @oath.com. 

I use AOL for its convenience but  have other accounts!
