Making sure you know the laws in your state and that you are following them.  In Idaho you have to be a broker to do them or have a broker supervising and being part of it.  Not all agents are brokers in Idaho and many were doing BPO's illegally.  -Kasey

The hardest part is being a listing agent where the bank hires an agent with no clue how to do one to place a price on my REO listing. I complete 2-4 bpos a day and pride myself on my work. I get paid well and my advise is know how to do them, know the area, know what to adjust for what and do it right
