I have a personalized plate and that's it. I went through the whole magnetic signs, even an LED license plate frame that scrolled website and phone number when stopped at a stoplight. (I still have it but it's not hooked up. It's pretty cool.) I don't want to be stopped while out and about by tire kickers or people that just want to brag about the wonderful real estate deal they just made that are not my clients and are not going to be. It's not how I work.

I did at one point in my career... until I got road raged by a guy with guns in the back window of his truck.  He didn't like me driving the speed limit.  I had a hard time shaking him but drove to the police station and he disappeared.  I did get his license number and reported him.   I didn't like the idea of him having my contact info so I nixed that on my vehicle.

That is very subtle on your car.  Personally, I don't like it.  At one point when we lived in Los Angeles, where we had our commercial real estate practice, they were wrapping buses with ads, and buildings were getting paid for having an ad on the side of their highrise at the tune of $10,000 a month. There were trucks driving around with ads also.

No, I'm a VERY firm believer in blending into the crowd.  I once followed someone from over a mile away at night because of a unique colored tail light.  If you do anything wrong on the roads, that's your brand at risk.  I take the same stance with personalized plates.  In 93 "QN REEN" cut my mom off.  Not only do we ALL still remember that plate, but I've run into her years later.

I just started using car magnets for the Homes for Heroes program which have my name and number on them. I noticed I am paying more attention to my driving! I don't want it to be too easy for the nice police officers to fill out their ticket forms.

Signs on the vehicle.  But then that constrains you to drive professionally.  If someone sees you flipping off another driver or driving agressively, then you will take a hit in your business.
