I got this a little while ago too.

Just have to wait a while and try again, eventually it will stick.

Seems like folks have had intermittent problems with this today, but if you come back to it later it may work for you.-Kasey

     Try a different browser.  This morning I could not upload a photo using a Chromium-based browser.   I switched to a Firefox-based browser; the photo took.

The only advise I can offer is "If it hurts doing that, stop doing that."

Imagine uploads is a long enduring issue on AR.

Either wait a day or two or three or four......

The good news is an image is appearing in your profile keeping you out of the blue man group.

You may want to email tech support...

Hopefully, this is a temporary issue with ActiveRain. Your photograph does show with your question.

Just keep trying. We've all been experiencing a lot of problems lately with photos.

Ask support at active rain. Try a different browser, Try clearing your cache.

Today has been troubling for uploading photos. Try changing your browser and try again tomorrow.

Gwen Daubenmeyer don't give up! AR can be a little temperamental when it comes to photos. I like Fred Griffin 's suggestion.

I just uploaded a new profile pic and used Chrome - I didn't receive an error message and it worked just fine.  Maybe try a different browser Gwen Daubenmeyer?

Sounds like the bugs are back.  Better call the Orkin Man!

I posted few entries recently and had no issues at all. Try to clean your history, restart and start again. (p.s. do save your post somewhere else just in case). 

Just a current glitch Gwen. You can try a different browser as sometimes that helps.

I had a lot of trouble posting my Wordless photo today. I had to load it to my website and copy the url to get it here. It's so frustrating. I'm really tired of the photo loading glitches.

I have same problem. Don't think you are doing anything wrong; I think it is a technical issue with the site. I just sent a message to support. If you haven't done that, as well as posting here, please report problem to support too. As you can see, I am in the "blue man" group. with no photo at all! My old photo was obviously removed when the site was "updated". Another member's post said switching to Firefox browser resolved problem for him, but I am already using latest version of Firefox, so that fix won't work for me. Geez, I won't have time to come back to site for days - I'm working on it at 12:45 AM as it is.  Just hope problem is resolved by next week, when I might have time to dedicate to it. Until then I'll just be blue :-<.

It is so frustrating and time consuming ... isn't it?  The glitch is back - it seems. I hope it resolves soon. I am sorry you are experiencing this.

Just go to AR support, don't waste your time; it's probably their glitch; I've had it. They issue a ticket and it may take a few days for them to get to it.

I think they are having some photo uploading issues today.
