Yes, post your pictures elsewhere such as on the postimage site, which is free, and then upload the url they give you for your photo.

Posted 4 posts last night, all with tons of pics.

It was slow but all worked without any problems.

Yes. Blog on our own sites.  That is working for me. I am sorry for the frustration the issues cause.  I wish I could wave a wand and fix it!

Photo linking is your friend - I've never had an issue with photos

I am copying and pasting pictures in my blog, but have skipped using feature photos. I read some other work arounds, but my patience and time willing to do it have run out

Write the post in Word or some other document creator. Cut/paste into ActiveRain and then publish. if it doesn't work, wait a few hours and try again. At least you have the copy saved on your computer.

I appreciate the tips from others on this. This is exasperating.

If you post your photographs on Facebook, you can copy and paste them in your blog.

do you have your own website?  If so, I believe it will work if you copy the html from there.  Also, you may be able to copy from a previous article on here.

 AR should ditch this uploader, and start from scratch with some new software.

Frustrating.  The solution that works best for me is to step away from the computer and come back later.   

Try logging out, clearing the cache and if that doesn't work, post it online somewhere else (like Flickr) and copy and paste to your blog.

I can not post any pictures and get a mac freeze when I try to open a file manager..... :(

Having the same issue. Sometimes it works; other times it doesn't.

Firefox is working for me

If you can post directly into the HTML it will work. That takes having the photo address residing elsewhere where AR can grab it.

What Nina Hollander said.  That's what I've been doing for the Q&A section for ages now.

I had a problem with Chrome, loaded IE and the photo loaded with no problem.

What I don't understand is I loaded two pictures without issue yesterday so why isn't it universal? Weird problem.

Debe and Bob wrote great posts about this, as you saw. It is an off and on problem, even since they supposedly fixed it. It is a bummer there has to be work arounds, but at least for the time being they help. -Kasey

I put photos in Google Docs, and copied and pasted from there.

Endre Barath, Jr. - wondering why you still have this problem.  I could upload few high resolutions photos in my blog post yesterday.
