I remember very little from October 2007.

Idon't remember my second month at all... I hardly remember signing up for Active Rain and didn't do anything here for several years after signing up.

I signed up but didn't participate by commenting or posting until about eight months later so I'm guessing the excitement was minimal at best.

I felt like a lost puppy and had no idea what I was doing. It took attending many webinars and bootcamps before it clicked for me. You are a sharp cookie, Karen and have grasped the mechanics and purpose quickly.

My venture in the rain started in April of 2012, and dedicated ever since then.

That was when  Vasco deGama was sailing the 7 seas. Don't remember!

I do not recall those early months. Comments were very rare.

No, that was 9 years ago but I do know this...I was quite lost, quite alone and had no clue how to blog. Some would say nothings changed. 

I do remember..I started blogging the end of October 2008..was still excited in December 2008!

That would be sometime around november 2015 for me.  Sorry, can't remember last month let alone that far back.

I believe I did not do anything at all for first 5+ years after I signed up. I had no clue.

I have been on the rain less than a year. My second month I was constantly checking the points to see if I got ahead of other agents in my local market. I am now number 3 locally, and it will take some time to get ahead of number 2. Number 1 is years down the road. But moving up in the state. I hope to be on the first page for Oregon before the end of the year.

Good Grief ... No I do not remember month two.  I am happy for your and your excitement.  Keep it up ... don't let burn out set in.

Karen, I'm surprised to hear this. I thought you were an experienced blogger!

My month 2 i was not very active. I think there is more welcoming now, than there was back then. My excitement came the first time a client called me saying they found my blog and wanted me to list their home. My next excitement came when someone from the Rain, gave my some invaluable tips to change my blog, then consumers started calling weekly.

That was over ten years ago and I can't remeber last week now! 

I can't even remember what I had for breakfast yesterday. 3:)

It's been 11 years for me here, and I had been on online RE forums for 5 years prior but in the very early days when this type of forum was brand new, it was exciting.

But I found my voice, and now newbies are compelled to endure.

The excitement will remain if you maintaine your fidelity to yourself and be genuine. That is often the opposite of being a real estate agent.
