Yes. I do. I cannot imagine unplugging or turning them off.

Turning off or unplugging? Unplug is my choice. My sisters home burned down a few years ago due to a short in a plugged in appliance that was turned off. I'm constantly walking thru and unplugging items that are not in use.

We unplug chargers, but leave the one surge protector plugged in. I know they can be a fire hazard. My brother recently came hom to find that his surge protector had shorted out and burned. The wall was black from smoke and the carpet was burned, but luckily it burned itself out and the fire didn't spread.

Guilty, although I do unplug the coffeemaker, toaster and flat iron after each use. I never thought about flipping the breaker, that is a great idea, Fred, and we definitely need to do that when we evacuate.

Everything on 24/7.
Got so many gadgets and appliances. The only thing I disconnect is the toaster after I use it - I have no idea why.

Yes I have & everything turned out ok & the office wasn't burned down.
Here I thought you were going to talk about 'ghosting' where appliances that seem to be turned off are actually still using juice.

Wow, I leave mine plugged in, but had a power surge not so long ago and the strips protected the TV's etc but blew. If going away not a bad idea to unplug them, but never seen one melt.

I always leave mine plugged in and on. Usually powering something. I haven't seen/heard about them melting, usually wall fires from poor electric runs or people plugging stuff into the other outlet in addition to a full surge protector.
