I want to celebrate this but am still making may over the ass bump that created this in the first place.  He never should have been told to remove it in the first place.

Glad to see this - if it JUST was put up, I could see the HOA having a point (I know, understand, and semi-agree with the devils advocate position on this one), but the flag had been there for a while, no reason to make an issue out of something that clearly should not have been an issue.

So many homeowner associations are out of control. But people are also liable for moving into one without researching it first.

I thought it was a federal violation to restrict any use of the flag in HOA's. They are the 1st ones to always fight about it.

That's great news, even if the HOA only backed down in the face of bad PR and not due to any sudden sense of overwhelming patriotic pride.

Fred we saw this guy on TV. I was hoping they'd come to their sense. For pete's sake the mailbox had had the flag decoration up for 4 years and it became an issue now. Ridiculous. And I'm happy they came to their patriotic senses.
