If you are not willing to invest in the man in your shoes, no coach will be either.

Buffini & Company is the real deal, been with them 18 years.

It goes both ways, they may not want to spend their time on someone who is not committed enough to shell out a few bucks.

At KW, the coaches take a percentage, and they do put out a lot of time and supplies for many agents who never put enough into it to pay off for the coach or themselves.

I see what you are saying and find that true in many cases. There are some that do use and do what they preach. I think Ben Kinney is one of those.

I have been to the offices of my real estate coach - The CORE. They implement every single tactic & system that they drill into our heads. It's a bit costly but, worth every penny!

One of the systems that I needed to improve upon was my CRM. I'm now using one that a real estate agent developed and is also using that system in his own business (Brivity - Ben Kinney).

I wholeheartedly agree with you - those who claim to be gurus rarely ever utilize their own systems, nor are they worth the money they're asking. Good luck!

I agree that there are TOO many RE trainers, coaches, etc. etc. teachers and gurus. My Dad used to say: ''those who can not do~ they become teachers.'' ( famous saying in Russian speaking countries).

But in general, I believe in the value of having an accountability coach or spiritual guru:)

They all know " There's a sucker born every minute". Some coaches offer a cancellation policy if you don't like what they're selling. (Amy Stoehr for example).

I have no real horse in this race and am not overly impressed by coaching offerings, but I have been using the Buffini work by referral system for years quite successfully using their self-directed coaching. I find the contingency payment idea intriguing. Of course, they will tell you that unless you have major skin in the game you will fail.

Great, that's nice but you've posted this inthe wrong area to get the most eyeballs.

The system works if you do. I think your post is incorrect. Most have worked that system & have proof that it works. You on the other hand, are looking for a 'personalized bullet' for you to use.

Are you asking a "guru" to give you their secret sauce for free then you will pay them?  Any marketing plan comes with the fact that you the owner have to daily do the duties to make it work no auto generated bot can make deposits into your bank account. Make a plan and repeat and tweak

Many will sign up for coaching and go at it half-assed.  If they worked on an contingency basis, most coaches would be broke.

Your reasoning suggests a 'GURU' should have only one business model and only one income stream.

As demonstrated by Active Rain owner Ben Kenney, the business person of vision will develop multiple income sources.

The reality is, THEY ALL WORK, but they don't work for everyone. The variable is the agent.

Of course, as business owners, we possess the authority to negotiate the deal with these vendors that is acceptable to us.  Whether they adjust or not should be no skin off our nose.

Be aware, in many instances, solicitation are received using the exact same resources they are selling. Now that is refreshing to see them actually use their own product.
