Dressing...

I've started making a "dressing" (not like a gravy, but a side dish) that was very well received.

I am a sucker for Mrs Cuthbertson's cornbread stuffing. I LOVE it with the neck, heart and gizzards chopped up and added to it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

I love my brown gravy or white country style gravy.  Just love them on my potatoes or turkey/chicken.  Recently I learned making sesame seed dressing. It goes well with salad greens but I don't think it goes with traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

It just has to be homemade!  No Boxed Stuffings for this family. 

No meat of any kind added ... just veggies and nothing sweet.  YUM.

My mother and grandmother made a meat based dressing. The receipe went to the grave and nobody has come close to duplicating it.

Always home made...and trying a new one this year.  I like to mix them up a bit...

We just use the recipe on the box/bag for stuffing. It usually taste ok. Kathy has been getting more recipes from " Cooking Light " cookbook or finding them online. This one is from Cooking Light. i think i'd leave out the cherries. kathy wings it a lot, so i'm never sure what she left out or added.

My favorite stuffing?  Stuffing me!  Happy Thanksgiving, Roy!!!

None... I despise stuffing/dressing in any format and never eat it.

I'm with Corinne: anything homemade. And since I'm usually cooking for thanksgiving, it is also mostly organic.

Whatever is on the table is fine with me.

My Geno makes the best home made stuffing and he is in charge even though we are going to son's house.

We stuff the turkey with apples and garlic studded lemons.  I make the dressing with apples, celery, onions and real bread that was baked by a local baker.  That was always the first empty dish, when we lived in Los Angeles that the family went for.  I have not hosted in years, and since out celebrations are in another state, we buy wine and dessert.  A

Every family has their own stuffing and I've always found other family's stuffings difficult. My family's stuffind is bread cubes with celery, onion but occassionally we'll add sausage for the in-laws.

No stuffing is going near my bird, and no dressing is going to be found on my plate or cooked in my house. We do not do that type of stuff around my house. My wife's family on the other hand does whatever they do, but see the comment above about "no dressing is going to be found on my plate."

Cornbread (husband has sensitivity to wheat) with pecans, chicken-apple sausage and fresh cranberries. Most guests beg for extra large take-home portions, it's a real favorite.

We have the 100 year old family recipe old fashioned bread stuffing/ dressing with giblets and such. So good! 

only dressing in our house and NEVER with those gross turkey bits either. Blech

I have been on a low card binge, but thanksgiving stuffing please, any kine.

Whatever Urban Plates puts in there turkey works for me. We do their take out turkey dinner for two and have a private, romantic picnic just my bride and I. Been that way for 14 years and we love it. It used to be 2-3 houses in a whirlwind tour of relatives when we lived in NorCal. Over it.

For me, there is only one kind and that is cornbread dressing with lots of sage, onions, celery, and spices.
