To some degree, it's been plateauing (not stalling) since August 2017 in some markets, while others still enjoy multiple offers. Buyers have become more discerning and less lured in to the bidding war. I've remained busy through all markets; even the The Great Depreciation, I just had to work harder.

We have two months of inventory in our local single family home market and despite a lot of new construction, builders cannot keep up with the demand. Unless people stop wanting to move here, or in lieu of a national crisis, I don't see the end anytime soon.

MY real estate market will stall two weeks after I take my eye off the ball.

However, the real estate market in Florida will continue with no more that 3% deviation throughout the year, whether I am or am not a part of it.

There will be a Wall Street adjustment. If I knew when that would occur I would not be hawkking real estate.

The 2017 recession did not happen as predicted. If the other party was in office it would accelerate the process.  Long term prospect in our area is very rosy and most modest homes will approach 2M. I expect some RE and stock correction after threat of of a war, or hasty end of the political stability.  The easy money will not last forever as if it was not cheap gas price we would have headed for a higher inflation rate by now.  My crystal ball is 2020 era we are heading for a recession.
