Do spirit guides and angels count? 

I have a coach.

I hear the word coach and I cringe ... my skin starts to crawl. I get that coaches work for many ... and that is cool.  It's not for me. 

I am with Candice A. Donofrio - YES they do count.  I call on my angels for guidance every day ... and they are there for me without fail!  No coach or trainer can do that ... and my angels don't charge me $1,200 a month!

No, we are each other's coaches.  Personally, I dislike the word accountability or any other ideas of that ilk.  We both are self starters and do what needs to be done daily.  I also understand that we are very different, and some of us need a coach.  A

My coach was my first broker.  Today he is retired but we continue as friends. 

Will..everyone is different. If you feel your coach has made a difference in your outlook and business than I'd say the value is there.

I do not but will be coaching agents in my company after the first of the year. I will ask for a 90-day commitment at first for them to meet once a week. It will be a process and I expect an investment of their time if I am investing mine.

I have had several coaching during my real estate career. Very helpful!

Don't have a coach, but I have trusted advisers that I can contact should I have any questions.

Used to have a coach, but found they got there money upfront, not after I got results! So I dropped them!

In the past I had a coach specifically for business...real estate business.

Those who put thought into their answers and those who craft great questions right here on Active Rain can often be the coach I need for that moment.

By being still in spirit, my coach often arrives.

Joe Stumpf and the BRO organization have been great coaches for me.

Peter Der Arakalian, Yasminka Melanuchik, and Dr Mai have all played instrumental coaching roles in my life.

They who say they need no coach, need a coach.

No coach for me and I don't personally know anyone that has one.

No official coach here but I enjoying collecting valuable nuggets from those I respect. 

I would like to have Cinderella's coach - as long as it doesn't turn into a pumpkin!  
I do not have a life coach though...

Early in my career I attended Floyd Wickmans "Sweat Hogs" course and I credit him with jump starting my career in real estate. Floyd open my eyes to the businsess and advised me to find a mentor.

So I went to the top producer in the office and he brought me on as his first team member. That was in 1999 before teams were really taking off.  Working with that agent taught me a lot about the business and definitely got me to where I wanted to be much faster than if I had tried it alone. 

While I do not have a specific coach now, I still listen to many real estate related pod-casts and always seeking ideas from the industries top salespeople. 

My advise is this, if you decide to use a coach then you must be coach-able. I assume that you completely trust that this person will make your business better. If you believe this then be his best student!

Currently I do not, but I absolute want one and going to get one. Not even for coaching but for pushing and keep me accountable.

I worked with a coach for 18 months several years ago but am not currently working with one and have no plans to 

nope, not a real estate one.  

Not formally... but have worked closely and gone on numerous appointments with some of the best agents in the business... and it has helped me a great deal.  Also, my first broker was a top-notch coach when I first started... he was calm, cool, and constructive... always had my back and sensed he believed in me even when I had my doubts, which meant a lot to me ... and I always knew there was an open door.  But these were all informal arrangements that I did not pay extra for... but a form of coaching no doubt.

I just 'graduated' from my program but, I still do participate in some of the classes they offer. 

He got me on-track, organized and doubled my income in 2 years. He more than paid for himself ten times! It was WELL worth the cost!

If you don't invest in your success, who will?

I've had many mentors and role models along the way, and some even didn't even know they were may role model - but not official paid coaches.

After 20+ years, I take classes to get updated or learn new stuff.  Don't need a coach.
