I don't bribe or "lure" buyers. Most of my business comes to me as repeat and referral business... they are already "sold" on me. But if you can't get your value message across to buyers without a "bribe," you have a much more fundamental problem and it's no way to develop trusting and long-lasting relationships.

In my opinion, if the condos are priced properly, and are a great product, there should be no need for give-aways to lure buyers. The buyers will be there.

I remember when banks used to give toasters away and my parents thought what a stupid idea... why not give money as an incentive such as higher interest rates.... I give quality service not gimmicks away... let me know how it turns out for you...Endre

It's good to see you are thinking out of the box but I'm not a fan of those devices. They sound great until you realize they can be hacked or that the creator is "recording" everything you say to improve their user interface. Too "1984" for me.

Oh my heavens ... no. Even if I were actively looking for buyers, which I am not, I would not be luring them with smart device. I have so much more to offer than that and would not want to reduce myself to luring anyone with a "free" device. Professional Service is what I offer ... not gimmicks or lures. I wish you all the best with this.

nope... would be much better to offer incentives that have real perceived value... such as price discount, or legal fees, or fee upgrade to quartz counters, etc... but devices are likely will turn off as many as you will attract... seems to trivial and "gimicky' ... and really given the price of the units... cheapens the marketing message in my opinion.

I have not heard this technique but I have been investigating the little apps & machines that turn on those bulbs & appliances & they aren't cheap.
Check out what a smart light bulb costs & you'll have to give yourself oxygen.

Doug Perry I don't think a $50 device is much of an incentive to buy a $500K condo.

Sounds like a great idea and well within marketing budget. Meets the goal of creating a real 'experience' for the prospective buyer.
I am so happy I did not see 'iPad' in the offerings. That is getting lame.
