However, I listened to some very smart investors in Florida this past week and they predict an exodus (based on the recently passed tax laws) from states with high taxes to states like Florida, Nevada, Wyoming, Washington, etc with no income tax. It will deteriote after two or three interest rate hikes. Home prices will continue to hike up. It may be $1100-1250/sf for a modest home or ~$2000/sf in better neighborhoods. Hard on first time well qualified home buyers even with 300-400K income wager earners.
