Small increments throughout the year as the economy flourishes. A year from now I anticipate mortgage rates of 5 to 5.5%.

Mortgage interest rates remain competitive. I imagine this will remain true.  No reason besides just because....plus that PollyAnna influence.

With a shortage of listing, sales are low in the mortgage world which means less mortgage starts. That means rates stay the same. They may boost them if they raise the fed, but market forces will determine what happens.

I think that they expect the Fed to raise them this week. However remembering when I first got licensed in residential, and the rates being in the 13% range, I don't worry much. We still sold LOTS of homes then, and buyers and sellers were still very happy.

They must go up so if the economy needs a jump start they can be lowered.  We do have a global economic reset coming in the next 1-2 years, so higher rates will be needed.

I am not sure if it's going to go up. There has been a lot of speculation about it, but Mortgage rates are still very reasonable. Let's hope for the best! We need the interest rates to continue stable. If it goes up, we expect to increase in small increments to maintain a healthy real estate market.

There is always a market so regardless you and I will survive. We will adjust our sales. Buyers, you are only going to develop splinters in the keester on that fence hemming and hawing. Stop renting, start owning and rates are awesome. Do the best rate you can get in any market and refinance when you can. My first home mortgage rate was 12.25% in a time of 16% adjustable. I did not want to rent.
