I get that call, probably from the very same alarm company.  They are aggressive, and don't take "no", easily.

No, I don't/won't give out my buyer's contact information, nor do I want the 'kickback' that they're offering in order to turn over my client's information.

If they want to sell my buyers... they have their street address... approach them the same way as any other vendor... send them some snail mail, and don't use my name.

I had a similar call and said I'll ask my clients if they are interested, the alarm guy thanked at first, but soon became so annoying that I simply blocked him.

ADT has multiple alarm trolls that call you 4-5 per closing asking for your clients alarm business. 90% of my clients never use an alrm, San Diego is a safe city...seriously like #5 in the country per SDPD.

I get these calls all the time.  The funny part is 99% of the time there is no alarm system.  I just tell them I referred them to my vendor of choice.  I never give out client info.

Does the buyer or seller want to be called and if they said you gave them the number, you are not the relisting agent or broker when the time comes around to plant a sign on the front lawn (again). The buyer and seller at the closing though should have each other's numbers and we encourage the contact after the sale for communication that is free and easy.
