It's got a motor that takes it from sitting height to standing height in a 10-15 seconds.

Yes, I have a Varidesk, and I too love it. It has really helped my back too!

Not for me, when I stand it is to get away from the desk but I do know people who enjoy these.

I have a Varidesk (48") and LOVE it! I did have to also purchase one of those anti-fatigue mats to stand on though (for my back). It made a world of difference!

I checked into it a few months ago & they were pricey but I hadn't done anything. Which one did you decide on?

Several people in our office do, but I prefer to sit at the desk so I dont.
Glad to hear that you are enjoying yours.

I'm not sure I could with 3 monitors?

No I don't but I'm on our elementary school board and we've ordered these for some of the upper grades. Starbucks have them and are a hit!

That is a new one for me. I have seen the Varidesk, but not a motorized desk. Do they come in different sizes?

I do not but also don't spend long periods sitting at a desk. I change it up.

I have both Ben DeHaven and I am usually at my sit desk but the stand up desk is great when my back is hurting. I could use an "in traction" desk as well .

I have a Surface Pro which is a highly mobile 'convertable' device.
I may back room, the one with 270 degrees of window, I have large work table at standing height. I use it primarily for sewing. Yep, some folks still know how to do that.
This afternoon, I was doing research, watched the cardinals and bluejay squabble over peanuts and did not get that pain in the neck of weariness around the shoulders.

No. Never been a fan of the concept. Or the treadmill desks. One thing I see you're in need of is one of those $120 kitchen mats that are just so amazing to stand on. Williams Sonoma has them, they take so much pressure off of your knees you will be sending me cookies to say thanks!

I've seen these desks, but I need more space on my desk than that. I just get up every once it a while and it does the same thing, only cheaper. Besides, it would give me a hernia lifting it up with all the things I have on my desk.
1,466,257
Ben DeHaven I do not have one. I can see where it would help from sitting all day.
3,071,489
3,416,038
I do not. I am not one that can sit still, so maybe this would be a good help
4,800,132
No, just a sit-down desk. But, I get up and walk for a few minutes every hour.
