ActiveRain is magnification for us.  While the SEO may grow and wane, it fits into our overall strategy.  We're known to more agents across the country than would ever happen with just our own independent website.  All those blog posts we've written here are digital breadcrumbs.  Sometimes consumers find us here, sometimes they find the similar page on our WP site.  But if they find us here, we're probably pointing them to WP.  They find us for what we're trying to be found for.  win-win.  Bill

It gets me to the Internet primary one. Many secondary benefits follow

the most url clicks I've had was on a post from 2014 and I have 599 clicks....  24 hours for that number is unbelievable...

Awesome!!!! That is a lot of clicks for a listing! 

We use ActiveRain to grow our businesses,  to get sellers, and to get the awesome high domain authority link from AR to our website! 

We also use it as part of our vertical SEO strategy. 

I view it as a niche growing/content marketing differentiation tool.

Very nice!  I use it to market my listings, but I prefer to send people to my website, so that's the short URL I share out.

It's the icing on the cake for me - I concentrate on my website but, love the interaction here and do share my posts (that are relevant) to social media.

My focus today and moving forward is to build my own brand on my WordPress sites.  AR used to generate leads. Not so much anymore which is why I am focused on my WP sites.  AR is more social for me today. It's a great platform for meeting top professionals, learning, referrals, and more. 

I have never had that many short url clicks on any post. I post first on my website, in any event, as that is where I want to drive traffic to capture leads. AR is part of my social media profile, but not a true lead generator.

Active Rain is a tool. One that i can promote my listings, tell a story and fish for consumer leads, learn something new, be entertained and attract new clients

It is a marketing platform.

It makes rain for us!
