No question interest rates will rise.

I would like to see buyers jump on the bandwagon early before they rise even further. I am not sure they will.

I'd like to see more inventory... not hopeful. With rising home prices and interest rates, more people will be priced out of the market, especially entry level buyers.

It is predicted (by the City Assessor in  Minot) that we will see a lot more building permits issued this year for the remodeling of homes. The trend I'd like to see is for Buyers to beat a path to my door for the custom homes my builders make in the developments I represent Kathryn Messina 

 More permitting for new construction.

 More cash buyers.

To see:

More new construction which will free the log jam in the resell market.

LIKE TO SEE:

1. Agent willing to collaborate to create a marketing value that benefits the buyer, seller and agent.

2. Fewer spectator agents. What I mean is agents who will take action to fix what is not working for them and stop surrendering to the marketing companies.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

More nonsense that sounds like 'raise the barriers to entry," 'we got train'n,' and 'ethics of the club."  More of the same with the added dimension of more 'hourly' broker business models.

I never expect anything but the unexpected. I am hoping to see an increase in listings 

I'm expecting to see an even stronger new home community market....and I'd like to see many more Active Adult Communities in my area....

Like to see more quality inventory and stable interest rates. But rates are headed up and inflation may increase.

Major trend expecting is NO INVENTORY.

I'd love to see less government interference in the market and the industry.  Given that I live in California and that nationally the DOJ is looking into forcing everyone to share their listing data with everyone, this isn't going to happen.

I think we'll see interest rates rise, millennials finally making a purchase (if they can find something), and more people getting into the business because think its a good time. I'd like to see builder building more reasonable homes price wise for millennials and empty nesters. They're missing the mark by building huge homes. I'd like to see more inventory. I'd like to see more regulations on new agents. 

I expect to see lots of new homes in my market and also rising rates but not enough to shut down the market.

Interest Rates are going to continue to climb and Sellers Need to take the plunge and put their houses on the market so we can moving again!

Well more inventory would be great. My rural area is starting to see what a lot of other areas have the country have for a while. I was showing a lot of houses over the weekend. Even as we were looking at a house...multiple offers would come in. 

Inventory is very low as well. 

Entry level is solid and trade-up market is coming back

The one trend I would like to see are more homes on the Market, and the one major trend I'm expecting to see in this Market, is slightly higher asking prices and per square footage prices Kathryn Messina. 

Expecting: surprises and volatility/ interest rates a 5% which is no big deal in the big picture

like to see: prices level and calm so people will list to sell

Major Trend: prices continue up with multiple offers on far too few homes for sale.

Trend I would like to see: many more houses for sale.

Would really like the market to settle down a bit.  We have had a frenzy in Denver for 4.5 years, and time to slow down a bit.

I am expecting higher rates....therefore I would like to see more inventory and less bidding wars for buyers...a balanced market!

Less buyers in 2018 we had and I guess, won't improve in 2019.
