No. I'm on my community site as a homeowner and see other agents there that do everything they can to procure others' email addresses and business. They are not 'well respected' by the local residents, that's for sure!

I have looked into it and saw no advantage over what we are already doing with localism blogging and other social media.

I haven't but I found my easiest deal lat year on there. Someone wrote in saying "Does anyone have experience seling homes that need TLC?"
I called them and signed the listing immediately. House was a full gut job. Got a full price offer from a rehabber and closed in 17 days.
Great deal for all parties. Seller just needed to get out quick and rehabber got a good job to do!.

I just started on nextdoor. It's just like any other social media site, you need to reach out to past clients to get recommendations to make it worth while. I have 4 zip codes to try it out. It's not that expensive in my area and they give you a break down on how many times your ad has been seen. You can post 2 posts per month per zip code. You can do polls, blogs, events, open houses, etc. It' s far less expensive than other lead platforms and someone on our Tom Ferry coaching page said they got 4 deals from it last year. It's another way to market yourself and build your brand. They show your picture or logo, so you get exposure in those communities. If you sell alot in a particular zip code I would at least try it. It's month to month. I will post again if I get anything from it. I've only been on for a few days.

I use my wife's next door account all the time and I enjoy reading what's going on in the neighborhood. Is it worth the money???

I see listings featured on Nextdoor in my neighborhood. Personally, i think the site attracts too many complainers so I don't feel it's a good place to advertise for me.

I've advertised a few open houses and had success with nextdoor. It seems to be a very responsive platform.

I started a nextdoor group for my area, but i don't plan to use it to promote real estate. I'm sick of real estate agents posting their real estate promotions all over facebook yard sale groups, and facebook neighborhood groups.

I tried it for about 4 months. Didn't see much from it, and I'm not even sure what my actual exposure was. From what I can tell, you have to get current users recomendations, and then it would probably net a lot more opportunity. I decided to focus elsewhere, but if you worked it, you might have better results.

I havent posted any of my listings, but received a message from one of my neighbors complaining about it. ( I was the one who started our community..)

I've used the site and have been ostracized for having any mention of my job in my name or posting anything related to business... all the while seeing others getting away with the same things... a fact I mentioned the last time I was shut down on something and of course got no response from the admins.
The more I use nextdoor (and social media in general) the more anti-social media I become. I have zero desire to give these asshats any of my money, just to see the same favoritism.

Ben DeHaven I signed up for it, but started getting bombarded with emails from everyone except those who live in my neighborhood. I discontinued it immediately.
