It all depends on the loan officer. I've had some that were a breeze and others I could have strangled them!!

My daughter has used them three times and one of those was a refi. I have found that they are easy to work with as a realtor...

no, we do very few buyers.... but when the team members have a sale, we have a favorite mortgage person and he gets the deals....

beyond that, we're listing agents.... 

I have a client who does loans for Quicken Loans.  He swears by them.

Not personally, but I have had buyer's on our listings successfully use Quicken for their mortgage.

I have had listings where the buyer was using Quicken. They closed just fine though I was nervous there would be a glitch.

We have so many good local sources that a non local source is not likely to get called.

My broker recently did a deal that was financed by Quicken. He said everything went smooth. 

I did know that ... no, I have not used them nor worked with a client that was using them.

A client recently decided to use Quicken when he found that he could not get as good a rate locally. He was generally satisfied, though he thought they were over the top about the amount of required paperwork. That said, a closer I use said she and her husband had a number of problems getting a re-fi closed.

My clients have used them.  They started their application, got involved, then called me when they had enough of Quicken's nonsense, layers of "teamwork" where no one knows what the other is doing, or when they were denied for a reason we could overcome.  At least a couple clients each year come to me after Quicken fails, each and every year.

I am working with a buyer client now who is using Quicken, and I have to say, they seem to be VERY on top of their game....  

Some great some horrible - the horrible ones seem to have been in the past though. They seem to have perfected their system. 

The loan officer is the key to the transaction!

They've done a great job with advertising the 'ease' which WF hasn't. Besides WF are known as cheaters now.

I have only had one years ago & it went ok. I was just sitting there waiting for the hammer to fall on the deal.

I've had transactions with them... some were a breeze, others a nightmare. 

We use local banks, title company attorney ... anything with sticks and bricks and creating local jobs is the way to roll if you have expert local service providers. Better turn around with appraisal process because we have a shortage. Local banks get the first dibs, best treatment because they are the bread and butter in small rural Maine towns.

I haven't used them yet...prefer to stay with local lenders.

I can only think of one successful closing with Quicken Loans in our brokerage.  In every other case, our agent suggests a local lender which the listing agent will recognize and recommend to their seller.

When we were building our house, we decided to go with Quicken Loans. When I got to the closing table, it was an interest only loan. Needless to say we were upset and did not close with them.

Clients have used Quicken Loans, they certainly make it easy, although, I find their rates slightly higher than what I can get for them. Do I redirect the want, heck no, if they're happy, so am I.

Yes on a couple of loans and while I didn't hate them, they weren't my great local guy that I was confident in.

Yes, several times and all positive, but I did not recommend them to the buyers. They had already made contact to get qualified. One buyer used Veterans United and that was also a positve experience. The one issue with the on line sites is there is a lot of scanning and emailing of documents that someone, the buyer or the agent must do. That seems to be one complaint, but they get them closed.

We were Quicken's go-to agents for the area many years ago, so we did a lot of business with them.

Although I was dreading it, yes, I had a transaction recently where I had the seller and the buyer was using Quicken Loans.  Even HER agent was apprehensive, but we closed a week early. I have heard horror stories, but I don't have one. 

I'm surprised but not surprised. More clients are wanting to do everything online. 

I ve had great success with quicken loans.  They had excellend followup.  the worst was Bank of America where they switched us thru 4 diffferent loan officers on one 30 day transaction, which turned to 45 due to them and only them 

Had a Quicken loan a couple of years ago.  Was the closing from hell.

Fred Griffin With Quicken's success I'm sure we will be seeing more of them. No commercial clients have used them.
