Outside of my comfort zone, but I have attended the Christmas party for the last two years and I have been encouraged to attend the social parties as well. I did attend the Halloween party 8 years ago (bowling), but ended up injured and have not gone again!

Tallahassee Board this week:

They do a Christmas party and a monthly Cocktail Mixer...I've never attended any of them due to locations are too far to drive in traffic and then drink.

I try to attend, but so many scheduling conflicts prevent me from attending most of these.

Now it is a different story when it comes to my participation in those events.

Yes they do and I do attend.

Yes.  We have a St. Patrick's Day and Halloween bowling event.  Last week the Affiliates Committee put on a networking mixer that was "Speed Dating" themed, since the event was the day after Valentine's Day.

My YPN Committee is doing a St. Patrick's Day themed mixer the Thursday before St. Patty's Day.  We're also doing one for the best holiday ever... Oktoberfest in September!

Not many. Awards nights and annual officer installation. Attended a few!

There are a few but have only attended a couple over the years

It is mostly reserved for women who like parties.  I was Shanghaied into one event found it was Women Realtor Association and I had to get up speaking.  Last one was a Latino realtor breakfast I had the best and biggest Buerrito in Ceasar Chavez community where Chavez gave the Union speech.  Today they will be sent back.

We always have a poker tournament around St. Patrick's Day, and sometimes other events.  I do try to attend if my schedule allows.

The association that I am part of - they have quite a few of social events and mixers.  I have never attended any..

I do not know ... they may. I do not attend and  am simply not interested in attending.  When I am social mixing ... it is not with other real estate agents.

I do not go...to far away and I am busy with local mixers.

For our Association, the annual installation of officers is the big social event. There are other sponsored by subsets of the AOR such as YPN and WCR. I attend very few. They can be enjoyable but time is an issue.

I'm sure the do, but I only attend my office and team get togethers....

They are getting better at adding a variety of events. I do not attend any of them any longer as the big company agents congregate and look down at anyone else. You will have this big comapny in this corner and that big comapny in the other corner. I stay working and sell while everyone else is at the event

We have four events/mixers throughout the year plus the business partners put on two events. They are not typically around the holidays although the Fall ones sometimes take on a Halloween or Octoberfest theme. 

Probably around Christmas... but not sure... have never attended any such events... just not in my wheelhouse to do so.

Back in the Day 

Our next event is a Tech/Education Fair that the RMLS is hosting.  It's held in a hotel or nice venue and is actually fun to go to.  Lots of vendors and some food.

We have an annual fish fry and unfortunately, it is ALWAYS during our busiest season. I try to attend but, rarely make it. I really enjoy it and wish they would choose a different month to hold the event!
