I am not opposed to it. Since it falls in the summer, I usually do something.  When the kids were younger, I had a standing coffee date with a friend outside in the sun for a few hours while our kids played. Recently, we have been camping or traveling on my birthday. If I am around, I will work during the day and celebrate in the evening. :-)
