G+ first - it speeds up indexing and then to whatever other SM sites I'm going to post that particular post to.

Nothing automatic - manually done - takes about a minute! (Yes, I think it has something to do with being in conrtol!)

It will speed up the process of being indexed. Most times it gets indexed within one hour. Yes, that fast :)

Ask friends and colleagues with websites to link to your post.
No need for them to write a new post just to add the link, simply find an older, related, post and ask for them to add the link there.

Offer to do the same for them.

Generally, I wait for the post to be indexed first ... then I share. 

I'd submit it to the search engines manually (at least google).  Then I'd schedule it to go out to the social media (if I was still doing SM) 3-5 days later.  Maybe stagger the social platforms so the traffic doesn't come all at once.

I share them far and wide, the locations of the shares will depend on the topic of the post.

I just leave it most of the time. I am more active on Facebook.

I typically share, but not always when I finish.  I know when more people are on line viewing my social media, I tend to share then.

Good post on using "Pinterest" for expanding your organic search. I post on facebook, Facebook groups and the pages I manage. I put on my business page and then "Boost" the post to the audience I wish.
