I don't think you would have to reply back with paragraphs, to someone that you would Follow - basically a line or a few lines would suffice, that would be appropriate to what you have just read.  Short and sweet would be wonderful, and since you Follow a low number of folks, and they would appreciate a comment Alesha A.        My suggestion is "do the best you can".  When you have hundreds or thousands of followers and connections across your social media sites (including AR), it is not humanly possible to reply, comment, socialize with all of them.

It is not necessary to commit inordinate time reading blogs.

However, when content:

  • transforms,
  • inspires,
  • educates,
  • edifies,
  • corrects or
  • encourages,

Support and appreciation is shown by re-blogging, tagging, linking or leaving a comment regarding how your life was affected. Let your comment have fabric.

Be the one who came back to say 'Thank you' when merited.

This is serious. You are in a community of agents who work endlessly, toil through the night, exist in loneliness and isolation. The don't seek or need a river of commentary, but a small gesture goes a long, long way in confirming to that blogger they are not shouting into an abyss.

When it comes to following.....I am unlikely to be found in that line. I do like reading what the leaders on Active Rain have to share.

Don't be a follower. be a fan.
