Absolutely. It is created the night before, items checked off during the day. I'm cruising around ticking off the last of my items right now.

  I have several to do lists.   Urgent, ASAP, Time permitting, and Some day one day.

All I know is I keep adding to one... sometimes I'm very vigilant and sometimes I just do what needs doing without referring to it.

Yes.  Love it.  Highlight the items I've done as I go.  There is something powerful about that...and writing down the items that need to get done by hand.  Somehow, they stick in my brain a bit better when I handwrite them.

Some times I do if I have a full day.

And when I am away from it.

Yes I do. I have to when I am busy running in every direction, that way nothing gets missed.

What is not to do.  We have been in a vortex of activity thanks to our clients, and adrenalin reactions with all the evacuation notices and dire predictions. We both have many things left to do, and more work has come in (no complaints).  So big on my to do is "DO  NOTHING!"  A

Yes usually.  Scratch if off , move to the next.

Ues.  I also am the Post-It Note Queen of my Office.  From Post-it to To-Do List updated daily and checking off my list ...

Well, I sort of have a hodge-podge of methods. If I'm getting swamped, I start making lists, but usually on big post-it notes that I stick somewhere. Other things I need to remember I put on my calendar. The other day I read something on here about the 5-second rule which is amazingly true, and I have another list for my thoughts that I have to write down so I don't forget them. There is definitely room in my process to get better organized.

I don't usually have a list buy plant reminders every which way.

No, I work off a schedule; lists do not work as most people tackle the low priority items on it to feel accomplished and busy. I decide on my top 1-3 priorities for the day and focus on them, nothing more. The priorities are scheduled into my day.

I have a to-do list. I have more than one to-do list. As I think of things of import throughout the day or new stuff is trust upon me, the list gets longer instead of shorter.

What desk? My car or a restaurant is my best “desk”. 

I do make checklists especially if I need to get all the items completed in that one sitting.

yes and no.  I have a to do list in my head.  Things get added, things get removed.  But I don' t write the list down.  I can accomplish two or three items instead of making a written list.

Oh my goodness - YES! If I don't make a list, things get forgotten. That seems to happen more the older I get. :-)

Somewhat urgent tasks: on keyboard
Other tasks: bottom part of monitor

Works well for me because they are always visible.
