The 80/20 principle.  So far AR has generated all of my online business... more specifically the Q&A section.  Other than that, nada mucho comes from the online world for me... of course I'm in a niche and don't do much online.

Interesting concept, do you want business or do you want online business is my question?  Not long ago we spent $100 taking someone to lunch.  It netted us 3 clients for branding and strategy, and then 2 more by word of mouth...

Interesting question and one I am actually pondering. 

Generating leads is easy. Answering the phone is a challenge. That's my 20%.

Used to be AR & I'm not sure what is taking it's place. A lot can happen in a years time with the internet.

Interesting observation. 

No more business for me.

I find working with past clients brings me more business.  The on-line leads can be flaky.

For me it is more about time well spent getting face to face with people or reaching out and touching through phone calls, texts, emails or notecards are mailouts.

Much like real estate agents, the 80/20 rule applies to marketing as well. I don't know that I can pinpoint that off of the top of my head though - I know, generally what works though.

My biggest ROI is having coffee or lunch with my sphere and providing oppotunities for my sphere to volunteer with me. We have a blast and the cost is minimal!

Can't say I pay much attention to that.
