I like to think that I make my competition work harder and smarter to compete with me, Paul! 

Good morning,  Paul - some make it easy to "shine" while others definitely are "shining"  themselves and it improves the entire playing field.  That's good for our industry,  the clients and those of us in this industry who want to be best.

I don't have any competition.

I work 100% by referral through my CRM only.

None of my competition has access to my database. 

It irritates me. I see so many shady things going on, I want to know why the Board hasn't taken action or Commission has not taken licenses. It all boils down to numbers...the more dues paying members the more revenue.

I am self motivated to improve my business but when I see the competition doing something impressive I am human, so I do feel the need to step up my game!

It is not competition with others, but with myself.... and likely the pile of bills that have to be paid.

Nope.  Like cream, I rise to the top.

I don't pay much attention to my competition.

Those who I do not consider competition make me work harder for many reasons that I could write a book about. 

I am always working smarter. It is in my DNA.

Both.   We have 1500 agents with enough business for only 200.  

In my niche I have very little competition, so I compete with me.

Both. But that's because my competition pretty much all work for large brokerages and they all do the same thing. Since I run my own brokerage, I make all my own decisions and have flexibility in "branding". It's tougher, but I love it.

Both in our very competitive market.

No, I rely on my bank statement for that motivation.

Yes to both. At least we try. We do have great competition in our market place. I am sure we can all say that.
