Be sure you created it all in one place like Word or Word Pad. Then copy and paste it. Sometimes the formatting from a program "argues" with AR's formatting.

If that doesn't work, I'll switch browsers i.e. close AR in Google and open AR with Explorer.

Don't give up, Rebecca! Try using 'text' to write your posts (or Notes on a Mac). If you are copying it from your website or Word, you'll need to highlight all of your text, hit the Tx button and then do the formatting.

Clear the Text (TX) and reformat. Chances are you are copying from another source and it looks ok at first then there is conflict with underlying code in the HTML.

No but you have to look at the HTML & see what else you have copied & pasted into the post. I find that is mostly the problem.

Say if I copy wording from another post here in AR, when I look at the HTML there is so much extra garbage that gets posted with that I had nothing to do with. Strip the code with the one feature button that will reformat the post.

I am sorry you are going through this, Rebecca but I haven't published a post is far this year. In the past, I wrote in GoogleDrive and used copy/paste before publishing.  Good luck. 

Everyone who wants to blog consistantly has or will  have this problem on AR.

Many have come to the realizations blogging on AR is more trouble than it's worth.

Even if you edit 100 times and get it perfect. it can chanse three days later.

Seems the only reasonable outcome is keep AR blogs 50 words long with a big link to a blog site that is reliable.

Hi Rebecca... did not have this problem yesterday... but I come across it frequently. And what's more annoying is when I go back to a post from "x" days ago, which was perfect when I posted and is now a mess and I need to edit and fix... sometimes numerous times before it takes again. It's very frustrating and a terrible waste of time.

   As others have said, be sure you are preparing it in Notepad or some source that does not add any code.

The issue you're having is so frustrsting!  Debe Maxwell, CRS provided the answer that solved the problem for me when I posed the question a while back. 

AR has some issues with processing the formatting from time to time.  If you're writing outside of AR and pasting it in, AR can't handle that.

Yep it happens a fair amount - and it IS frustrating. I create outside AR (saving the post), then copy and paste into the editor, highlight it, then clear the text (TXT Icon), then format as I wish. It's been working fine that way.

At some point this happens to all but doesnt last long. Don't give up though

I have not posted in nearly a month.  I am sorry this is happening.  If you are copying and pasting into AR you will need to select all and then strip the code by clicking the TX icon in the editor.  Then you need to reformat.

I no longer use the AR editor, but rather copy and paste from an outside source.

Always save a draft and check it before posting.

Use the standard fonts in the editor for the best results.

Always if you copy/paste, you have to clean formatting.... it is annoying I agree.

Last week one day I got ERROR on 4 times

This has been an issue for a very long time.   Sometimes I post it, then change it, and then it stays in the format I prefer.

I have not had any problems lately, but the system has seemed a bit slow lately!
