IMHO the best thing about the world cup it only occurs every 4  years.

I will be speaking to investors tonight in Tel Aviv but the problem is, this is a futbol mad country. We will see what the turnout is.

I haven't capitalized on the World Cup to get business, but I watch the games with my husband because my he's a fan. 

Not really into watching sweaty guys play with balls.

Unless it's the 49ers or the Patriots I'm not watching any sports on TV.

Most USA citizens don't understand that most stadiums in the USA are too small to host a World Cup game.

It would be worthwhile to invest a little in understanding what all the fuss is about.

I have not watched any games, perhaps if USA had been in, it would have been more excitng for me. Wish i could make it to Boston but working solo as my support staff vacations

Soccer is gaining interest in the US. Even has me watching occasionally.

I happened to catch the tail end of a few games on TV a week or so ago, but I'm not a fan. I do have to say those guys have to be in great physical shape - they just keep running and kicking non stop.

My son went to Mexico a few weeks ago when Mexico was playing, and he walked through the airport and he said EVERYONE was screaming and yelling and jumping around. That must have been quite the sight.

I love American Football, not that other kind of football.

Hmmmm... gotta disagree about soccer being the most boring sport.  You can put golf on the top of my list of "boring"... followed by baseball (Too many games - the most excitement is cold beer and hotdogs)

I just can't get into it and any events I did around it would not be genuine.  Regular season football or the local training camp, yes.  World series/world cup/basket ball, no thanks.  Maybe polo or cricket.  Definitely rugby.

I have to agree with Richard Weeks but I certainly understand that appealing to a sport or sports team can get you into a productive niche.
