Of course, I'm in CT, everythings taxed (& retaxed) here! Buy a car, pay tax, then pay tax every year you own it. Carbon tax, no problem. Counting down the days til Malloy is out.

Paul not in Hawaii, we have a rail system that is way over budget that they are squeezing money for.

With Chicago and the state of Illinois having some of the highest taxes in the nation, we think gas is free if you can afford the taxes!

Thank heaven no. I have had enough with taxes and this will not curb China, India or Russia from spewing their pollutants to mother earth that are the real problem. Perhaps they could plug those volcanos spewing pollution as well with the politcians with such bad ideas, well intended or not, poor execution.

I don't have a problem with paying taxes when the taxes are put to good and benficial use, whether for the environment, health care, education. My problem is that the taxes are seldom used efficently and often not used for what they were supposedly intended. A number of years ago.. perhaps 5-6 N. Virginia was subjected to an increase in sales tax of 1% for road maintenance and improvement now here we are years later and the roads have never been worse. Politicians on ALL levels need to be held accountable and NOT just at the poles. Now Stepping off my soapbox lol.

Some of our clients do sell carbon credits to others who are looking to offset their impact.

Our state just passed a gas tax increase and that went into effect July 1. I know of no other plannded taxes associated with gasoline.

These efforts are just another 'Tax and Spend' effort by your elected politicians. This will benefit no one.

   Florida has a sane State Legislature and a sane Governor.  They don't believe in that fairy tale.  Besides, our gas taxes are already among the highest in the nation.
